I love AP - always have

bought my first RO 37mm RG & Tantalum #001 off Leon Adams wrist 35 years ago & the affliction has yet to abate. Over the years I sold off everything I didnt love to wear including all the ROOs except the Safari. I became enamored with RM when AP Renaud & Papi first entered into the venture. I have become a huge fan of the 67s as most of the previous ones were massive - like the ROOs. Currently have a ss Panda 38mm chrono on order at the boutique - we revert to the mean.It feels like Groundhog Day

It’s one of the nicest trees AP made, my taste.
Quintessential Safari ROO.

The new 43mm ROO with the beige fume dial does seem to have unique features that parallel this original Safari, but in this new generation of ROOs. At least it seems to IMHO, but has to be seen in the metal.
How interesting you say that. I agree completely.

I am rather smitten with the new 43s, and while all versions look very good, the fume dial has the same "it" the Safari did when launched. The others are certainly more predictable versions. I hope to see one in the metal very soon ;-)
Good call on that.
