Richard Mille

RM will be debuting its new RM056-02 Tourbillon Sapphire, a limited edition of 10 pieces, in Hong Kong at end of September at Watches & Wonders 2014. This watch will have a new movement similar to the RM27-01 Rafael Nadal and its cable suspended movem...  

It is a thing of pure beauty. Wow! And it says so much of the creative genius of Richard Mille that a marquee piece such as this is released now instead of waiting for SIHH. Just stunning!

I sincerely hope our fearless Mods (Andrew or Anthony please if you can!) get some one-on-one time with this once it is complete to take live shots.. this is an instant marvel. I also give kudos to Mr Mille for the unexpected release like this; lucky are ... 

and the technical brilliance to get the cables to support the movement within the case. It is an unbelievable tour-de-force. And perhaps a culmination of the past 6 to 8 years of research and work. It is quintessential art and technical brilliance! Andrew... 

Inserting an impact-resistant movement into a fairly fragile sapphire case...now that's a bit unexpected! The smaller movement footprint shifts the focus to the sapphire case, which an improvement in my eyes.

We know RM knows how to shoot and process its watches on pics but these two last versions from the all sapphire familly (with saphire plates) look amazing. Thanks for sharing. Cheers, Mark
