I assume that the 000 and 390 has the same OP number? Therefore the swap is possible without any hickup since it's essentially the same case. smile

If a Luminor case has been dented (not scratched) after being dropped accidentally, what will normally happen when return to service center? I heard a new case is expensive and may have to wait a long time to get one in... Any ideas?? accident happened no...

I don't see it as a big deal. It gives the watch a....

That is an impressive dent. How did it happen?

if it bothers you that much, then if the watch is a regular prod watch, take a loss in selling in and buy another one if it's an SE watch, buy a pre owned regular production luminor watch, swap the case and then sell the dented reg prod watch to the marke...

I would NOT recommend

Swapping the case among different series of watches: First off, the authorized service would not do it. Moreover, you end up with a case number that does not match the paper works so you devalue BOTH watches. Last but not least, different series might hav...

The service center will only replace the case if you ask them to

I personally wouldn't replace the case or get a new one if you plan on keeping the watch. You may ding the case again, so might as well keep it the way it is IMO. Cheers, Anthony

Looking at the picture

It doesn't look like it can be fixed without loosing the original shape & lines so I'm afraid replacing the case would probably be your only option to return the watch to it's former glory. Obviously the question to ask is whether it's worth it. Which...

Just live with it

Hi, accident does happens , from the photo , permanent fix is to replace the case and IMO it is not worst it if the machine is working just fine and most importantly it is not obvious when in wrist . However , if you intend to sell it then it is a differe...

Case swap

A dent is a dent, and on a Pam 390 Boutique Edition is too hard to ignore. Found a Zero and my friend did the swapping over for me. Only the edge, the case back is unscathed so the "operation" was done within couple of hours. Being a qualified technician ...
