Thanks guys for responding. I just wanted to have a platform to release my frustrations and disappointment.
I know mechanical watches have the shortcomings but heh I at least expect the watch to come back working fine and no additional blemishes or foreign materials in the case movement after service. Imagine the case is stainless steel or titanium, then we will never know?. Well, if you guys want to know, the service centre is SINGAPORE. Hope anyone knows anyone here who can help. Many thanks.
Just a short note, before this, I sent my Pam 140 for complete service, I too had to send back again because I found some linen materials at 6 0'clock of the dial. You see, I am a very patient person...But how can anyone accept this level of service?? Can you?

Hi everyone, I am new to this forum but I need advice from anyone who can help.. I sent my PAM 277 (8 days - P2004 movt) for service because it is still under warranty and the 8 days' reserve indicator did not go all the way to zero. I received my watch a...

Hi : I recently purchased a Pam 326 from a local AD and the next day it stopped. Back to the AD the next day and on to Panerai in NY. The watch was returned in two weeks in perfect working condition. I suggest that you take it back to the AD you purchased...

I would ask the local service center to forward watch to Switzerland for repair....

By local is that the Singapore service center? A very reasonable request in my opinion. After all, you have been most patient with them in their attempts. I would also write a letter to the director of the local service center and cc it to Panerai CEO, de...

Hi everybody, sorry to hear this story but that's not uncommon among mechanical watch customers....Even if it is highly disappointing. I had the same experience with another important swiss brand, and i was able to resolve the problem only by 1) contactin...

to mention WHICH ONE is the service centre that handled your watch....BTW.. Knowing which one would help some fellow Panerai's owners, don't you think? Cheers - Sergio

As the saying goes, hopefully third time's a charm. Keep us updated, and hopefully the Panerai service center will come around this time. It happens to the best of us at some point in time. - Anthony
