But for many buying a Patek meant it’s a wise financial decision, not because they actually like the watch itself.
In another watch forum I have seen far too many questions about the future value of a watch.

Patek making watches in titanium. Mind you, Kari Voutilainen has started making them in titanium which to me is a huge selling point!

I would keep salmon for special watches and not add it to everything (or have made it regular production). Nautilus is also watch themed to the ocean, porthole and the sea so a blue dial is really what suits it. best

Frankly I think part of the attraction of the salmon dial was its rarity. It’s not a color easy to pair clothes with, if it’s a regular dial I don’t even think most buyer would chose it.

Too many people "investing" in watches instead of enjoying them. I do think about depreciation when considering a new watch, but that's not my main driver at all.
