What you guys think of the RM11 versions nowadays?

Do you think RM is turning the RM11 into AP Offshores where new models are just different color variations? Are the next versions going to be purple, yellow, orange, brown, etc.? What are you thoughts on this? Cheers, Anthony below are some of the color v...

would love to have one in my stable sooner rather than later

I am not sold on those yet

I don't know what it is, maybe too modern for me?

Well, Anthony

While tghe first ( and normal ) series looked appealing, with its strong, modern look, I feel that those colored versions make this RM 011 look cheaper. A bit if a watch turned to a toy... To me, this is sad. Because it totally deserves a quite nicely wel...

Forgive the cliche from those German Bauhaus days, but sometimes less is more, I personally prefer the RM 011 without the color with the simpler black accents. The red and blue models are my least favorite. They do indeed resemble toys as previously state...

Funny you should ask...

Ever since I started seeing the different versions of the RM011 being released I've felt that AP has had more of an influence in the RM brand than was originally discussed. I think it is clear that there is an ROO LE influence with the RM011. With that sa...

Undecided really...

I own a Le mans in Gold & green, whilst its a keeper beuase of its collectability, I have to say I am not theat keen on it. Everytime I see the 'standard' Titanium one, I think that looks the best. I agree there is something in the coloured ones that IMHO...

I feel the same way as well

With more and more colored versions of the RM11, I feel it's cheapening the RM11. So far, I don't think all these colored RM11's have tarnished my enjoyment of my original RM11, but if more come color variations come out, I think it will begin to ruin my ...

A yes and no answer for me....

With the same argument applying to AP's Royal Oak Offshore colour palet program. There are certain colour combinations that will appeal to one group of consumers over another. Ford moved away from his model T mantra of you can have any colour you like so ...

I like the original the most.

The black one is my second pick. I think the problem with the colored ones is that the dial markings are white and they make the watch look very cluttered. I'm sure they look stunning in the metal.

Totally Agree Allen...

...Hit the nail on the head for me. When you look into the face of an RM11 there is a lot going on, skeleton movement, shiny backplate, stencil date, big 'caution roadworks' date box....its a very busy watch as is. Then when you add colours, it just adds ...

You can probably guess what I think of the RM011 ...

 By: eric.vonschonberg : April 28th, 2009-01:50
But if you did guess, you'd probably be wrong. I actually like the looks of all of them! If I had to pick, it would be either the regular one (1st photo) or the one with light blue (last photo), and I'm mostly leaning towards the one in the last photo. Wh...

Not the same, but when there were different flanges and finishes for the RM005, I was looking at the FM model and the platinum model the same way. However, looking at the FM version now, I don't think it aged as well as the classic model. The yellow and t...

It's hard to predict. One could argue that if you want to have a watch that will stand the test of time, you should probably buy a simple men's dress watch, like a Patek Calatrava instead of any Richard Mille, since RM is such a departure from other more ...

I saw a pretty cool one yesterday

Rose gold top and bottom with a black middle section and red crown. Not sure what it's called but it's one of the best that I have seen. I'm not much for the colored inner rings.

RM 11

 By: vc : May 2nd, 2009-15:57
I would like to say that original RM 11 WG is the best, then followed by original Ti and RG models. RM should stop doing coloured limited editions as this is not good for RM brand image in the long term.. RM is not AP. The coloured variations from red, bl...

I agree 100% with you and i hope AP with the RO/ROO stop too!!!!!

RM watches first surfaced with astonishing technologies gathering and looks. RM had found a unique and empty market. From RM I guess I expect to see revolutionary modern pieces, but over time what I see is ROO LE, Bell & Ross and BRM methodologies. In the...
