I'd heard about this experiment in a watch boutique, but didn't know the results until coming across this thread today. Awesome work, Da Guru!
Would be nice to see a close-up side-on shot...in an aquarium or something next time ?! ;-)

You can see by the impact upon the water how light it truly is by the minute ripples it caused upon impact but oh sh**, there appear to be bubbles...... Any body want to change their minds before the next pic.......

buoyancy in the case versus weight in the watch and strap to allow it to float. Nice experiment and proved me wrong. Still not sure I would have done something like that if it was my RM027. But thanks for trying it on our behalf! Andrew H
