FREAK

As a UN fan,  I own among others Freak, Sonata and Trilogy of Time, The Freak is a very special watch that is likely to be considered "revolutionary" over time.  I wear it much less often than my Sonata and would never consider it a watch to wear daily.  When I  do wear it, it is with a sense of reverence and history.  If you have a large collection and looking for something "special" the Freak is it.

Having to select one, which one would you buy and why? Assuming unlimited funds is not a good assumption.

Ronald, that is a tough question

What are you looking for, when considering these 2 veeery different watches? An useful and friendly watch, or an extrem watch which is the mother of all the Concept Watches, and a Revolutionnary one? Here, the Freak: Here, the Sonata: The Freak is a spect...

I agree with everything Nicolas said above. But what are your criteria for choosing one of these UNs? As I recell, you have some pretty interesting pieces already, no? IMHO, going for the Freak is really quite a bit more than just selecting a new or next ...

It seems so! :)))

That depends on why you are getting the watch.

From a functionality standpoint, I would certainly take the Sonata. From the artistic, horologically unique perspective then the Freak. Whereas the Freak is a visual joy, the Sonata has multple sensory pleasures, the physical beauty, the auditory thrill o...

I know what you mean, Mitch

When you own both, the only problem is that you are impatiently waiting for something at the level of the Sonata and the Freak... Oooh YES! Well do you also own the GMT Perpetual? Thi is also an iconic watch from U.N. I'm really wondering what will U.N pr...

Yes, as a matter of fact I wore it today.

RG GMT Perp +/- ltd ed - original case. I have been waiting and waiting for something "Ochsian" (innovative and exciting) from UN. I know that the Anniversary Caliber 160 was a revolutionary movement but I'm waiting for something socks knocking and reason...

Let's hope that this year will be the good one, Mitch

I'm pretty sure that U.N will present us something special, as they didn't create their new movement to only use it on the 160. Dreaming is good! What would you like to see, Mitch? What would be tyour dreams? Best. Nicolas
