Now this "gold nugget" really shines,
as I have managed to remove the deeper scratches in the crystal. I have treated it with 2000 grit wet-sanding paper for some time and finished with the usual Polywatch treatment. Apart from two really deep gouges at 5 and 6 o clock it really looks flawless now.
Still incredibly hard to photograph, this thing reflects light like nothing else. 
Really flashy dials on these Movado Kingmatics!
Unfortunately my wife also likes it a lot, so she asked me if she could "borrow" it from me, I can see it ending up in her watch box in the long run...
