date change

Should change between five-to midnight and five past midnight (same date change mechanism as RM10), having said that, it's not a major problem and I would hold on until  you can get it to your AD, it's not a big job just a small hand adjustment.

Hi everyone !!! I got a Richard Mille 030 and the date is changing only 20 minutes past mid-night. Everyday it changes the date on the wrong time !! Does anyone know if I can adjust that or the watch has a problem ? Thanks a lot, Alberto

Sorry to hear this. I would take it along to the AD from

whom you purchased the watch. Sounds as if the date mechanism needs an adjustment, and I would only let an AD touch the watch. Let me know how it turns out. Andrew H

Andrew, I agree with you, but the only problem is that I'm living in Brasil and going back to Miami (where I bought) only in 6 months... Anyhow thats what I should do... Thanks for the comment !! Alberto

If I am not mistaken, the date mechanism on the RM030 is a "semi-intantaneous" one. It means that the date "jumps" on the display but the mechanism that changes the display is being armed over a long period of time (usually starting around 10pm). I am not...

Would be interesting to hear from someone technical about the date change, Dont view it as a problem, as above I am sure its just the cycle to flip it over to a new date. I had a watch that didnt change dates until 20 or 25 mins after midnight, and for th...

Chris, I have spoken with some technicians and they agree with your point ! But there is still one question I didnt understand, why each date change occurs in different tine (sometimes 21 minutes after 12pm sometimes 25 minutes...), you think it can be th...

First of all I dont have a RM or any watch with an "inhous" mvmnt, One of my watches is a Tiffany with an ETA mvmnt and it switiching instantly within + or - 5 seconds at midnight, if that can your RM can.
