RM27=25 grams not 20 but Wow Wow Wow

This apparently is due to the fact that the first handful delivered have the heavier optional honeycomb strap they are supplied with as the ultra lightweight straps are not yet ready.

When the other straps are delivered in September, the watch will weigh in at around 21 grams not 20 due to some mechanical changes they have had to make. Currently the watch weighs in at 25 grams.

I have to say that when I received the watch and held it for the first time it didn't make me smile but made me feel like a bit of an idiot that I had parted with so much money for something as light and toy like. There aren't many that can be more aware than I as to how the world of watches is largely built on smoke and mirrors and thank God for it, yet holding this for the first time it made even me think that I was being pushed to the limit.

And having now had it on my wrist for over half a day I can tell you that.............. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

I wonder if when the 1st person received their Porsche RS lightweights in the 70s they went through the same emotional journey as I with the lack of door linings / handles in favor of just pull cords to save weight etc?

Anyway, the last time I buzzed like this from a watch was when I bough an S/S Patek 1463 chronograph with Breguet numbers owned by 1 of the original Bentley Boys!
