To get a correct reading you should have the Beat Mode on your machine set at automatic (this will automatically detect BPH), and to get an accurate amplitude reading you will need to know the lift angle of the movement you are testing  lift angle can be changed on the machine.

Without being there it is difficult to say, but in general: For the timing, there are some possibilities. That could be the measurement error of the Witschi machine, I have never seen the specs of a Witschi, so I don't know. Also any real oscillator such ...

I do not know the angle of the 5070 and, unfortunately, I didn't care about this indicator. I will make a more documented measurement and get back. Thank you for your help! Radu
