Some anectodal RM 05 vs. RM10 comments from an AD

I spoke at length with an AD for RM who sells a lot of his watches. This is what I was told which of course is just one person's, ableit a knowledgeable one, opinion:

1. The 05's all sell well and are still being received from the distributor. The 10's have been received adn sold as well--so there is overlap. At some unknown point in time, they expect the 05's to stop. To date, there has been no noticeable preference for one over the other at the retail level.

2. Having compared both the 05 and 10 in the metal and side by side, this AD likes the 05 case style a little better; and thinks the additional skeletonizing on the 10 is a tad distracting or unnecessary since the 05 (and 10) are already so high-tech. That is not to say the AD doesn't like the 10, since the changes from the 05 are mostly subtle ones and almost unoticeable except to the trained RM eye or afficionado. Merely, the 10 is "no biggie", and there is good reason to either prefer the 05 or the 10 or not care much one way or the other.
